GO PTO focuses your donations and efforts in order to improve your child's school experiences at Gibbs 6th Grade School and Ottoson Middle School. Among the activities we facilitate is a mini-grant program, designed to meet student needs identified by faculty and staff, and to help improve the work environment for teachers, including funding up to $250 to each teacher for classroom supplies.

If you have questions about GO PTO, or about how your contribution will be used, contact us at

GO PTO is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and your contribution is tax deductible. Please ask your employer about matching gifts. Our Federal Tax ID is 31-1748001.

The Annual Fund

Rather than do bake sales or ask students to sell wrapping paper or candy bars, we ask every Gibbs and Ottoson family to contribute to the GO PTO Annual Fund.

Approximately 95% of our fundraising dollars each year come from the Annual Fund.

While the suggested amount is $75 per family, any amount is welcome, and no amount is too small.

Contributions can be made online or by sending a check* payable to GO PTO, and mailed to:

*If you include your email address on your check we’ll thank you electronically and save a stamp!

Stop and Shop A+ School Rewards

A+ School Rewards are points that supporters earn with each purchase made using their Stop & Shop Card, from September-(mid)March each year. Those points turn into a check at the end of the school year!

To use this program, you'll need to create an online account for your Stop & Stop card. If you don't have a Stop and Shop card you can get one at the store.

One your account is created, add the school A+ to your account. To do this, just visit Stop & Stop's website, click on Sign In -> Manage my Account -> Savings & Rewards. Under the A+ Rewards Program, click the Select School(s) link, then add the Gibbs or Ottoson. See this video, which demonstrates the process to follow.

If you don't remember your 13-digit Stop & Shop Card number, just call 1-877-366-2668.

Box Tops for Education

Purchase Box Tops Products and earn money for our schools. TWO ways to earn, and an opportunity to Double-Dip! See below.

If the Graphic on the Packaging Looks Like This

SCAN your grocery receipt within 14 days of purchase to the new Box Tops app. No clipping necessary. Pick 'Ottoson' as your school of choice, it all goes tot he same place (we are in the process of updating it to 'Gibbs-Ottoson')

Bear with us as we all learn how to use the new app, it was launched in June 2018. See the Box Tops site for an updated product list , more on how the program works and why this change is happening.

If you have any trouble contact Box Tops, they WANT to help you learn how to use the app.

If the Graphic on the Packaging Looks Like This

CLIP it from the packaging and turn it in to the main office at Gibbs or Ottoson at any time. No matter which school you send them to, the money all goes to GO PTO. Make sure each coupon has a valid expiration date. Although Box Tops is planning on going fully digital over the next several years (so please do try out the app), they will honor all paper Box Tops through their printed expiration dates. For now, that means we can even receive double credit for cipped Box Tops if you also scan your receipt within 14 days of purchase.

For more about this program see the Box Tops website.
